I have such a love/hate relationship with this SPD-SX. On stage, it's a God send. Converts WAVE and AIF files. Shouldn't be of any use to those not owning a Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad. The SPD-SX-Editor is an independent. Off stage, when using the software manager, I thoroughly DESPISE it. But I digress. I'm trying to update my driver to the new El Capitan, SPDSX_USBDriver1011.pkg I've done everything the installation instructions tell me to do(which is very simple on a MAC), and my computer doesn't even see the SPD-SX when I go in to System Preferences, Sound. I've uninstalled, re-installed several times and nothing happens. I've deleted everything related to the SPD-SX, including the original software download, and then installed the 10.11 drivers, and still nothing. I tried reinstalling the original driver from the cd that came with the SX, and I get a message saying that it's not supported on my device. Obviously OSX 10.11 needs the updated drivers, but I can't get it to work. Can anyone help me? Has anyone else had problems with this new driver? Hi Nathan, Welcome, I installed the SPD-SX El Capitan driver recently to my Mac Pro and haven't had any trouble with it so far. It just seemed to work with no effort on my part - I've just reconnected now and after connecting the SPD-SX to the Mac with a USB cable and powering on, I start the Wave Manager on OSX and it finds the SPD-SX automatically as far as I can see. Have you enabled 'Wave MGR' on the SPD-SX under Setup->Option->USB Mode?
